The Learning Space premieres on Maine Public!

A new show on Maine’s public TV network is aiming to help remote learners, especially those who don’t have access to the internet, while schools around the state remain closed. “The Learning Space,” which premiered Monday on Maine Public, will feature teachers from around the state giving lessons for third-, fourth- and fifth-graders in a variety of subjects. Coalition aims to ease workforce crisis by keeping Maine college grads in Maine

September 05, 2019 · The pilot program will include student interns conducting 'guerrilla marketing' activities and a partnership with a ride-sharing app.
Industry-funded workforce development groups Live + Work in Maine and Educate Maine have joined forces for a pilot program this fall that seeks to reduce the number of Maine college students who leave after graduation. They said Maine’s escalating labor shortage requires more creative methods of enticing recent graduates to stay in the state.
