Each December Educate Maine convenes hundreds of educators, business leaders, policymakers, and diverse citizens from across our state's communities at our annual Education Symposium. After two years of virtual engagement, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Holiday Inn by the Bay for a full day of in-person learning, networking, and engagement.
The success of our annual Symposium begins with you! We invite you to share your best strategies, innovative ideas, and in-depth knowledge with Maine's education and business leaders. Raise your voice and contribute to our state's shared knowledge by becoming a presenter.
The annual Symposium will reflect Educate Maine‘s work covering the entire educational pipeline from early childhood to adult education. Proposals are welcome in all areas of the pipeline as well as on policies in Maine or elsewhere that could help achieve Maine’s statewide education attainment goal. Business-education partnerships and initiatives that support lifelong learning and talent attraction and retention are also welcome.
Innovative school models or classroom learning that connects to Maine industry Examples: Rural STEM education, environmental education, career exploration
