Educate Maine is delighted to welcome Morgen Leighton to the team. Morgen joins EM and Maine Career Catalyst this week as a workforce development specialist. She brings strong knowledge of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and experience in community engagement, strategic planning, and multi-sector partnerships.

 

Morgen's diverse background includes work in the legal field, international nonprofit work in London, and regional workforce development initiatives in Maine. Before joining the Educate Maine team, she served as the Program Assistant at the Northeastern Workforce Development Board, where she supported local planning efforts and led programmatic monitoring for WIOA Title IB-funded programs across the Northeast region of Maine. Morgen earned her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University with a dual major in Philosophy and International Relations.

 

Originally from Maine, she enjoys baking, spending time outdoors in her garden, and relaxing with a good book and her three cats.
